Styrene butadiene transparent impact resin is a kind of copolymer with styrene and butadiene as monomers. According to different brands, its styrene content ranges from 70% to 85%, while that of butadiene is only 30-15%. The polystyrene block is continuous phase and the polybutadiene segment is dispersed phase. Therefore, the product shows the nature of plastic. Due to the unsaturated double bond in the polybutadiene chain, it still has certain activity. Under high temperature or other peroxide and strong light conditions, it can be oxidized, cross-linked, grafted and hydrogenated under high pressure. In terms of molecular structure, it has polystyrene and polybutadiene block segments, butadiene / styrene gradual chain segments, butadiene and styrene random segments, the length of each chain segment and different arrangement combinations, as well as linear or star structure, which make the mechanical, optical and thermal properties of styrene butadiene transparent impact resin diversified.
